If you’ve always wanted to have a tiny, little bat with a big, shiny necklace around its neck, but you never really had the chance, today’s your lucky day, as you’ll learn where to find the Count and how to get him as a battle pet!

The Count is a very easy pet to get, as it’s a 100% loot from a treasure, but in order to purchase him, you need to get yourself 99 Infused Rubies. In order to be eligible to loot Rubies in Revendreth, you’ll need to complete the quest for it first, and it’s called the Endmire. It’s a super simple one asking you to deliver some Rubies, and after that, you’ll be able to get them from Revendreth treasures, the Halls of Atonement zone and a few others.
Once you’ve gotten the Rubies, go over to the Old Gate flight master in the Castle Nathria zone, head west and then south through a tiny gate, and then take a hard right when you get into a sloped path going up. You’ll notice some Venthyr people standing around, and a purple-glowing treasure hanging at the top of the well thingy. It’s a good idea to clear the area first as there have been some reports of the treasure bugging out when people tried to loot it while in combat or mounted, so dismount and get rid of the Venthyr just to be safe.

Once you’ve clicked on the treasure, you’ll get yourself an item called The Count’s Pendant, and there’s a good reason for that, as your tiny new friend has an enormous necklace that has a special red animation once in a while, which is pretty cool for your vampiric roleplay. If you’re more into pet battles, you won’t be disappointed either, as the little guy has got some cool abilities, making it a viable candidate for your flying comp in some battles.
And that’s it when it comes to getting the Count.
