Ameliance Custom Deliveries is one of the new content pieces introduced in Endwalker 6.15, and just like everything else in FFXIV, it needs to be unlocked. In this post, you’ll find out how to unlock the Ameliance Custom Deliveries and how to start on them in your first week!
Why are Custom Deliveries important?
Now, you might be wondering why these deliveries are worth it in the first place. Custom deliveries are weekly quests you can complete to earn a bunch of crafting and gathering EXP and scrips. You’ll also gain Satisfaction for each character you do deliveries for and their satisfaction levels will rise, teaching you more about the character. That’s pretty much their reputation, similarly to how you grind the Tribal questlines. You can only complete a total of 12 custom deliveries per week and six per specific NPC. The higher collectability your crafted or gathered turn-in has, the more EXP and scrips you’ll get in return. Scrips are used to purchase important crafting materials, materia, decor, and other useful loot from Scrip Exchange NPCs.
How to unlock Ameliance Custom Deliveries
In order to start with the Custom Deliveries, you need at least one Crafting or Gathering job at level 80 or more. You need to have completed the “Endwalker” main scenario quest, which is the last one in 6.0, and you also need to complete the “Go West, Craftsman” level 60 quest from Mor Dhona, which is a blue quest for Disciples of Hand or Land.
You’ll only be able to see this quest after completing the level 50 Main Scenario Quest ‘The Better Half’, and the side quest ‘Inscrutable Tastes’. Once you have those, you can talk to the “Well-dressed Attendant” NPC in Old Sharlayan to start the quest “Of Mothers and Merchants.”
If you’ve done all that and completed Ameliance’s intro questline, you’ll be able to return to her each week to craft some high-level supplies. If you’re reading this on the first week of 6.15, you’ll see that she already has a list of deliveries you could be making for her. If you’re confused about what you need in order to craft an item, open up the dialog with Ameliance and learn what she requires you to turn in, then click on Search for that item using the crafting method, and it’ll open up a list of things you need. You can also find all the recipes under special recipes in your crafting log. Your go-to vendor for all your custom delivery crafts is Synnove in Old Sharlayan, so make sure to drop by and pick up all the materials you need.
