Endwalker 6.15: quick & easy unlock guide

The 6.15 patch has been live for a few days now, and along with big pieces of content like Arkasodara Beast Tribes and Ameliance Custom Deliveries, there are also additional questlines you want to be unlocking and getting yourself into. In this post, you’ll learn what you need to do in order to unlock the newest Hildibrand questline, Omega: Beyond The Rift side quests, as well as Tataru’s Grand Endeavor side story!

First off, we’ve got the Somehow Further Hildibrand adventures. In order to unlock the questline, you need to complete the Endwalker MSQ first, as well as all of the previous Hildibrand questlines from A Realm Reborn, Heavensward and Stormblood. You also need to have a character at level 90!

Once you’re done with all that, go to Radz-at-Han and talk to the “Excitable Youth” standing near the Aetheryte, at (X:11.8 Y:11.2). At the moment there are only two Hildibrand quests, but based on the previous experience, new quest lines will be added throughout the patches.

Another returning storyline in patch 6.15 is the Omega: Beyond The Rift quest line, continuing the narrative started a while ago, back in the Omega raids in Stormblood. It should go without saying that you’ll need to have completed all the Omega raids up through the quest “A Dream in Flight,” as well as the main scenario of Endwalker. Once you’re done unlocking Omega, and if you’re level 90, go to Old Sharlayan and talk to the “Bespectacled Technician” standing at the (X:10.9 Y:14.3). Once again, we can expect this questline to continue into further patches, as there are currently only two quests to look forward to.

Finally, there’s the Tataru’s Grand Endeavor questline, introducing the story of the most powerful of all the Scions (and I dare you to comment and say otherwise if you think she’s not). The only prerequisite to start this quest is to complete the MSQ of Endwalker up through “Newfound Adventure,” as in all the quests added in patch 6.1. Once that’s over and done with, go to Old Sharlayan and talk to “Mehdjina” at (X:11.8 Y:9.8) to start Tataru’s Grand Endeavor.

That’s pretty much it when it comes to 6.15 unlocks! If you have any other questions, let me know in the comments, and if you’re more of a visual person, and you don’t mind getting easy wins in-game, you can check out all of this in my video – and subscribe for more awesome FFXIV stuff!

How to unlock Arkasodara Tribal Quests in Endwalker 6.15

Patch 6.15 is live, and one of the biggest features of it is the Arkasodara Tribe reputation and dailies. However, there are some prerequisite quests you need to complete before you jump into the new content, so in this post, you’ll learn what you need to know in order to finish the quest chains that’ll allow you to start with the Beast Tribes ASAP!

There are two required quest chains you need to finish up, and the first one begins with Steppe Child in Thavnair. There’s a chance you’ve already done this, as the quest reward is an Aether Current, so you may not be able to find it on the map. If you’re done with it, the next quest will be called The Matanga Along The Way, and it will be a blue quest as well. This one will be followed by Ogul Repays Her Favors, and the chain ends in The Yedlihmad Hunt.

The next quest chain will begin with What’s In A Parent. Unlike the previous chain, which you could undertake at level 80, for this one you need to be level 85, as the prerequisite for this quest is Under His Wing, a level 85 Main Story Quest. Finishing that will have you do Curing What Ails, The Sins We Bear, and finally, the Societal Alchemy.

Completing these will unlock A Budding Adventure from Yezahn in Thavnair, which is the quest that kind of ties it all together. Once you’re done with it, the actual Tribe unlock quest will pop up on the map, and that one is called Hippos Born To Run. After a cute and engaging story that doesn’t take too long, you’ll unlock the Tribe and will be ready to accept the daily Tribal quests from your elephant tribe!

That’s all there is to it when it comes to unlocking the Arkasodara Tribe quests. The entire thing will take about an hour to complete if you haven’t done these quest chains, but they’re very much worth it. If you have any other questions, let me know in the comments, and if you’re more of a visual person, and you don’t mind getting easy wins in-game, you can check out all of this in my video – and subscribe for more awesome FFXIV stuff!
